My / Our Last Post Regarding UBS Project For November 2012 Session..

On this last post of UBS system ,we want wish a best wishes and good wishes for sir effendi that very honestly help and teach us from the beginning of semester  until last of semester how to key in every transaction in UBS system that was helpful to us to finish our project and for practical that coming soon .Not only ,sir also help to evaluate our document that we get from the company to do the project .Sir also help us to teach the transaction that we cannot understand .We also wants to say thank u for our owner which help us to give document that related to their company which is very helpful to  us to finish our project ,

At last we want say for our DAC 2183 class mate which help us in the class when we having problem in key in the system . 

UBS Performance Appraisal. WHAT IS ALL ABOUT...

UBS Performance Appraisal is about student evaluation form that the owner of company will give comment about the student or the candidates of   project .The form consists all the particular about the student and company name and owner name as well. The  form consists is two section that is section on A and B .In this section is based on 10 particular section that is

1)UBS project work quality ,the reliability , accuracy ,neatness of work .

2)UBS project work quality –the amount of volume of work that have to accomplished

3)Decision making

4) INITIATIVE

5)Team work

6)communication

7)creativity

8)participation

9)Reliability

10)Application of theory

And in this section ,the owner of the company is need to circle according the number 1 to 5 that is based on the 1-unacceptable 2-acceptable 3-Good 4-very good 5-expatiation

And section b is according the owner personal view and comment for last part is designation and company stamp ,the owner need to sign the evaluation form based on their personal view .

Information That Are Not Clear For UBS Project November 2012 Nov Session

Information that not clear for UBS project November 2012 session is like sales and purchase

Invoice not properly have and it’s like lack of information about their debtor and creditor ,because its does not show a good records of debtor and creditor . their transaction is on monthly basis so its  didn't show records according to date .Not only that the company that we find didn’t have actual receipt of any expenses that they made like any purchase that they made ,and when the owner take money from their profit but they didn't record that as their  drawing ,so it will be misstatement in our  accounting term like for example business and the owner is a different entity can be same ,because of that we having problem like their profit or loss cannot be calculated correctly .

The company didn't have a accurate amount of worker and their amount of salary is different every month ,so it make a difficulty that we need to find the actual amount of salary that they made and its make that we need to calculate every month their salary ,The company also does not have actual payment voucher of salary that they are made.

Not only that ,company also doesn't have a correct amount for their utility ,because when we interview that  company owner says that their rental is including with utilities ,.no any receipt or transaction or any letter about that particular transaction ,

CHALLENGES ENCOUNTERED WHEN FINISHING UBS PROJECT FOR NOVEMBER 2012

Not only that, because me (hana) and maanimoly is different group in doing UBS project.

Both of us cannot find company near shah alam area so both us find the company near ipoh and kedah .For maanimoly ,she find in ipoh and me (hana) find in kedah ,because of far ,we having problem to meet our owner so ask  about their company stability .

Challenge’s encountered when finishing UBS project for November 2012 is we didn’t get of accounting information as we want .For example, we want information for that shop until February until Julai but some transaction that have is not according to the month .

Not only that ,if we need any information about the company, we need to ask the owner to post the document all ,so we need to wait until we get information for them ,so it’s  will be difficulty to us to do our project according to the time .

One more things, the company that we all find didn't have document and transaction properly for example purchase and sales invoice and their expenses didn't have accurate so it’s make our journal and ledger, cannot be settled accurately.

One more thing is we cannot print our system with other computer or devices like pen drive so we need to find the shop that can help us to print using their printer and the shop that kind of service was limited in Shah Alam area, so most of student will chose that shop because it is near to UITM and MSU so most of student will preferred there so it will be late in process.

Accounting Assumption PAGE. WHAT IS IT ACCOUNTING ABOUT?

After trying to find a suitable company and willing to cooperate with us to jointly complete the project UBS, the company will cooperate with us to complete this project is Kilang Kopi Company located in Kedah. We went to the company to obtain all relevant documents used as references for this project. The documents we have obtained are Sales Invoices, Bank Statement, Cash Receipts and etc. We get the source documents from the past data that they record and we also interview the owner of company to get more information and data.

After obtaining the relevant documents, we need to show to the lecturer who is an adviser to this project for approval to continue to the NEXT STEP.

After obtaining approval, we started our job quickly to complete the project. We are very excited to begin our work to complete the project and see the result that we do.

Challenges Face To Find Potential Company For UBS. MSU CSR Project. A True Story..

Apart from the Mini-Project, we are given the opportunity to learn more about UBS  in doing a PROJECT, where we need to find a company that is using the Manual System of doing business transaction to convert into the UBS System.

For this project, we are given the choice to search for companies that use manual systems.

Actually quite difficult for us to find companies that use manual systems, since most companies have been using a computerized system for recording business transactions.

To find companies that still use the manual system of recording business transactions, we need to go to the company and ask themselves to the company whether they are doing manual or computerized system for record their transaction.

For more information, this process takes time. This is because we are also bound by the assignment of other subjects.

We intend to find a company that makes service LAUNDRY using manual systems. Company we are talking about close to our residential area. This can be easier for us to go in doing this project, but for now it is just planning ahead because we have not had time to go to the company.

We hope, in due time, we have the opportunity to go to the company.

UBS Skills I Have Learned Until Today (7/12/2012) Are....

Today we have DAC2183 Accounting Information System class.. We learned a lot about UBS, a lot of skill, skill that lecture teach about UBS and is very useful for us in the field of accounting.
Skill-skill that we've learned today is: 

1) Create new company data :  

• In this step we need to enter the company name and directory to create a new company data. 

2) Add UBS interface :

• In this step we have to add the user admin,create the password and set the date of the period transaction.

3) Update company profile :

• In this step we have to add the company name, their address and the ROC number of the company.

In the previous class we have learned about Add entry to UBS system, but today we learned about Quick entry for UBS system.

1. First skill : 

• We have to remove data in the system. We have to remove all previously entered data in the system. How to remove the previous data is we have to click the Housekeeping button then select Clear file then choose Generate sample chat.

   2. Second skill :  

• After we done remove the data we have to choose the Quick entry for key in the data. Advantages of quick entry is it can save time, fast, but still have the risk of error should be noted.

After we have done key in the data through Quick entry we must create the backup file for security..
